Other than some slick trail conditions, Saturday was an ideal spring day for a race. If we could have only postponed the race until noon. By the time I did a final sweep of the course the trails had dried up to an almost slip-n-slide free loop (thank you again Laura Hamm for helping to clean up the course. You were a big help.)
There were numerous animal sitings at the park on Saturday; 4 turtles, 5 ground hogs, 1 skunk, deer, a couple of red headed woodpeckers, and a handful of black snakes.
We have 4 people that can revel, for at least a year, in their course records:
10k:
Jill Himmel - 00:55:44.45
Walker Wright - 00:46:55.81
13.1:
Laura Hamm - 01:49:10.71
Mark Tuggle - 01:34:17.81
Thank you to the Sponsors and all the Volunteers

Let me know what you thought of the course and any suggestions you have for future years.
Thank you for coming out to play with us.
